Alginate is derivatives of alginic acid which is extracted from seaweeds.(factory website: wwww,jiulonghezao,com; ) Sodium Alginate contains high mannuronic acid and best suites for thickening application. specially recommended for the printing thickner of Reactive dyes,Disperse Dyes,Acid dyes,Acid Chrome dyes and Sulphur dyes with cotton,silk,wool and polyester etc.

The viscosity tested based on 1% solution(without calgon) at 20 degree centigrade by Brookfield viscometer.The temperature will have an influence on the alginate solution and as general rule the temperature increasing of 1 degree centigrade leads to a viscosity drop of approx. 2.5% .

Sodium alginate series includes industrial dye-printing grade sodium alginate and purpose-made dye-printing sodium alginate.
